On November 25- 28, the Mayors of major cities of Balkan Countries met in Thessaloniki.

The Municipality of Thessaloniki is organizing the 10th International Meeting of Friendship and Cooperation between major Balkan cities.

Thessaloniki has hosted many initiatives towards Inter-Balkan understanding and cooperation.

However, this is the first time such cooperation concerns cities themselves, local communities themselves and citizens themselves.
