On Friday August 26th, 2005, the 3rd Summit of the Executive Secretariat of the Network of Balkan Cities was held in Thessaloniki and was attended by:

Mr. Konstantinos Gaveras, President of the City Council of Piraeus, the Presiding City for 2004, and
Mr. Antonie Solomon, Mayor of Craiova, President of the Network of Balkan Cities for 2005
Mr. Ramazan Kabasakal, Director of the International Department of the City of Ankara, the Presiding City for 2006, and
Mr. Vassilios Papageorgopoulos, Mayor of Thessaloniki, the seat of the Executive Secretariat of the Network of Balkan Cities
