On May 14th 2010, the 8th Executive Secretariat Meeting of Balkan Cities Network hold in Thessaloniki, in order to prepare the next Mayors' Summit, that will be organized by the City of Tirana.

According to the BALCINET Structure, the Executive Secretariat Meeting comprises the President of the Previous Term 2009, Mayor of Thessaloniki, the President of the Current Term 2010, Mayor of Tirana, and the President of the Coming Term 2011 - 1st Semester, Mayor of Varna.
