On April 18th, 2007, the 5th Summit of the Executive Secretariat of the Network of Balkan Cities was held in Thessaloniki and was attended by:

• Mrs. Maja Gojkovic, Mayor of Novi Sad, the Presiding City for 2007
• Mr. Ramazan Kabasakal, Head of International Relations of Ankara, President of the Network of Balkan Cities for 2006
• Mr. Sehrudin Sarajcic, representative of the Mayor of Sarajevo, Presiding City 2008, and
• Mr. Vassilios Papageorgopoulos, Mayor of Thessaloniki, the seat of the Executive Secretariat of the Network of Balkan Cities
