BURSA INTERNATIONAL YOUTH & CHILDREN THEATER FESTIVAL

IN OCTOBER!

Bursa International Youth & Children Theater Festival has been hosted by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and Bursa Culture, Art & Tourism foundation with the co-operation of ASSITEJ/Turkey (Turkish Center for International Association of Theater for Children and Young People) since 1996 in every October. With the participation of tens of theatrical companies from all over the world, the festival contributes to the introduction of multinational children stage activities and promotion of interesting theatre groups and their performances. It also aims to help young generation to understand the importance of theatre and stage performances, and to assist young artists to experience to compare their efforts with each other and discuss their visions.

INTERNATIONAL BURSA KARAGOZ SHADOW THEATRE FESTIVAL

IN DECEMBER!

International Bursa Karagoz Shadow Theatre Festival has been held in December since 1994 by the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and Bursa Culture Art & Tourism Foundation with the co-operation of UNIMA/Turkey International Art of Pupperty Union). The festival aims to introduce the traditional puppet performances and promote activities to sustain the art of puppet and shadow theatre on international level.
